Chris Preble from Robert Half Finance & Accounting is working with a Syracuse client of his to find an Assistant Controller that wants career growth. Responsibilities- Backfill for Controller as necessary- Define and flourish process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency- Assist implementation and assure adherence to accounting policies and procedures- Support accountability and the meeting of deliverables- Formulate relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like actual spend against budgets/outlook, key financial metrics, and the monthly flash report- Other distinguished duties when required- Provide assistance to the accounting team during the closing process to make certain deadlines are met- Ready different technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures- Test and produce Ad Hoc financial reports- Assist with the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting
